Submitting a proposal to speak at PyCon US 2026
PyCon US 2026 is now accepting proposals and content details for Talks, Tutorials, Charlas, and Posters.
When submitting your proposal, read all help text to ensure you provide an accurate proposal.
IMPORTANT: You MUST use the same email on your speaker profile that you will use to create an account and register for the conference on us.pycon.org/2026. The import of the schedule and speaker profiles from Pretalx to us.pycon.org/2026 is tied to this email.
PyCon US 2026 Proposal Submission Policies
Proposal Limit
Although PyCon US 2026 wants to see and hear everyone’s ideas, we also want to ensure high-quality proposals and streamline the review process for our review teams. To do so, there is a proposal limit of three proposal submissions per person. This limit includes all submission types (Talks, Tutorials, Posters and Charlas). If you are listed as a co-speaker on a proposal, it will count toward your total.
- Submission Limit: Each individual may submit a maximum of three proposals, of any type.
- Co-Speaking Count: Proposals where you are a co-speaker will count as one of your three submissions.
- Non-Compliance: If an individual submits more than three proposals, none of their submissions will be reviewed by the committee.
Two-Speaker Limit
PyCon US would love to invite as many speakers as possible to our conference; however, it’s important to maintain a diverse range of topics and speakers. Each proposal for Talks, Tutorials, Posters, and Charlas may include a maximum of two speakers. Exceptions may be considered for podcasts and panels submitting for the Talks; reasons for multiple speakers can be provided in the "Notes" section of your proposal.
Travel Grant Policy
Please note that this year’s speaker Travel Grant policy allows for a maximum of one speaker travel grant per accepted proposal. This applies to all session types.
PyCon US Talks, Tutorials, Charlas, and Poster CFPs is now open until December 19, 2025!
