Welcome to PyCon US 2023 Call for Proposals

We are very excited to be gathering in person again for PyCon US 2023! If you use Python professionally, as a hobbyist, or are just excited about Python or programming and open source communities, we’d love to hear from you.

Before submitting your proposal be sure to read through all the guidelines for each track type here, https://us.pycon.org/2023/speaking/guidelines/

Please note that Pretalx accounts used for PyCon US 2022 will not be carried over; all submitters will be required to create a new account for 2023.

Be sure to read through the help text to be sure you provide proper information. It is important to not include any identifying information in the outline, format, or description of your proposal.

All speakers will be presenting their topics in person this year at the Salt Palace Convention Center.

Travel grants will be available to speakers, so please don’t let that be a deterrent. We want you and your ideas at PyCon US!

As a result of the pre-conference survey sent out to PyCon US News recipients, masks will be required indoors regardless of vaccination status. We are also looking into having onsite testing during the event. The full and up to date PyCon US 2023 Health and Safety Guidelines will be coming soon. These guidelines are subject to change as the event gets becomes closer.

All speakers are expected to have read and adhere to the conference Code of Conduct.
