Abigail Afi Gbadago
Abigail Afi Gbadago is a software engineer and developer advocate with a deep passion for technology and community.
She serves on the Django Software Foundation board, is the programme chair for DjangoCon US 2025, is the regional executor for Black Python devs, and is a Microsoft MVP for the Python and Web track. Additionally, Abigail is a contributing member of the Python Software Foundation, a contributor to the Django Newsletter, and a Djangonaut.
She has served on various organising teams, including the programme committee for the Open Source Summit Europe 2024 (Linux Foundation) and as an organiser for PyCon UK 2025.
Afi is passionate about building tech spaces and contributing to global tech ecosystems through her leadership.
