My personal perspectives from looking for a job as a FLINTA Python Engineer in 2025.

I've been working in Python professionally for over 20 years. I have been building software for almost 40 years. I live in Berlin. I don't have a job. Why?

Is it because of my gender (FLINTA)?
Is it because of my hair color (purple FTW)?
Is it because I am neuro-diverse (AudHD)?
Is it because of my tattoos?

While I can't get provide a better answer than what I get from recruiter, hiring managers, engineers reviewing my code assessments. I can share what I have done: (got the heck out of the USA). And I can make recommendations about what works (gets me interviews) and what doesn't.

I am a leadership-focused professional with a deep background in tech, dedicated to fostering inclusive cultures and driving meaningful organizational change.

I’m passionate about creating environments where psychological safety is the foundation, where every team member feels trusted, heard, and empowered to take risks and grow. My approach to leadership centers on empathy, clear communication, and mentoring others to reach their full potential. I believe emotional intelligence is as critical as technical skill to building innovative, resilient teams.
