Josh Levy
Josh is a technologist, digital rights advocate, and a co-founder of Center for Digital Resilience (CDR). He oversees the development and implementation of the CDR Link platform, the Waterbear data collection and analysis platform, and other aspects of CDR’s technical infrastructure. He was previously advocacy director at Access Now and campaign director at Free Press, where he helped lead global efforts to protect free expression online, fight for privacy, secure strong open internet rules, and rein in government surveillance.
Session
This session will introduce the Leafcutter platform to the digital security community, discussing use cases and showcasing how different data sources coming together arms the security community with more accurate intelligence for providing preventative support to civil societies.
At the end of the session, participants will have a richer understanding of how different data sources within the civil society community -helpdesk data, OONI data, MISP, etc- coming together more accurately equips helpdesks, security professionals, researchers, etc, to predict, understand and respond to threat within the community
